Andy Hutchinson of Leicester with the nice 5-pointer he shot opening weekend near his home.
Andy is one of the few hunters who were able to connect with a legal buck in our area during the first week of the Vermont rifle Deer Season. Hunters were finding it difficult to locate legal bucks with no snow and mild temperatures in the area.

15-year old Pierre Laroche, son of Marc and Chris Laroche of Shoreham, was fortunate enough to bag his first buck during youth day 2007. This is the last youth season Pierre will be eligible to hunt, due to his age. The 5-point 130 lb buck was taken with help from guides Gregory Raymond and JJ Mackey.
