Major Randall Gates of the National Guard Family Readiness Group presents a certificate to Vergennes American Legion Auxiliary Unit 14's president, Pam Norton acknowledging the Unit's contribution to the Family Readiness Charitable Fund. The Fund helps with imminent needs of guard families. The presentation was held at Post 14's annual Veterans Day dinner. Donations may be made to The Vermont National Guard Charitable Fund c/o Captain Lee-Ann Belval, 789 Vermont National Guard Road, Colchester, Vermont 05446-3099. These donations go to the non-profit which then turns around and uses them for emergency requests from our soldiers, airmen, and their families. Each donation is recognized by a letter for tax purposes.
