Timmy Johnston a Senior in the Culinary Arts curriculum at the Hannaford Career Center in Middlebury prepares stuffed mushrooms and other horderves for his guests during the Open House on Thursday February 7, 2013.  All 18 programs and their student participants and teachers were available to show visitors individual areas of study.  The annual event is always well attended and gives the community an opportunity to interact with dozens of bright and talented young students as they create a career path for their future and the future of their community.

Yvette and Kyle are part of a growing number of students throughout the  country who are studying for a career in health care while still in high school and Hannaford offers them excellent opportunities to do so. Health professions is now a full day program at the school providing even more experience and hands on knowledge for the students enrolled.

Hannaford Career Center Senior Isadora Marks and her teacher Lisa Rader look over some of Isadora's work during Open House at the Middlebury campus on Thursday, February 7, 2013.  The Career Center currently has18 programs that offer students real life skills in an actual career path environment, on a daily basis.  During the Open House parents, friends and visitors had an opportunity to interact with staff members and teachers.  The Career Center has two campus facilities here in Middlebury; one on Charles Avenue next to MUHS and another, The North Campus at Manelli Road off Exchange Street in Middlebury.
