Vermont Governor Phil Scott summed up the sentiments of everyone in attendance at the ACFA Awards Banquet by explaining his personal 4-Cs of leadership and how they relate to the Addison County Firefighters Association. “Character and integrity, Competency, Commitment, and Chemistry”, the Governor explained before a packed Eagles Club Dining Room in Vergennes on Wednesday night, January 17, 2018. The Governor went on to congratulate the firefighters on their “selfless acts on behalf of the citizens they serve. “When others are fleeing a fire, you are running towards it,” he said. Governor Scott has been a regular attendee of the ACFA Awards Banquet for several years. Michael Donnelly was this year's presenter and as always did a masterful job with the Recognition and Awards ceremony.
