Caroline M. Mayo

Monkton - Caroline M. Mayo, 67 died Wednesday December 20, 2006 at home in Monkton with her family by her side after a long illness.

    She was born March 27, 1939 in Hinesburg the daughter of Charles and Alma (Briar) Bell.

    In loving memory of a wonderful mother and friend, may God bless and take care of her, Caroline will be in our thoughts, our hearts and greatly missed.

   Predeceased by her husband Stanley E. Mayo Sr.

    Caroline is survived by her son Stanley Mayo Jr., his sons, Jeffery, Josh, his daughter, Brandy; great grandson Dakota; two daughters, Robin Mayo; her daughters, Crystal, Jennifer, and her son Ricky; Susan Mayo and Rick Tenney, their daughters, Britney, Tiffany and son James Brace and great granddaughter Mariah; sons,  Keith Mayo and Mark Mayo and Linda Rochon, their son Shawn; two brothers, Clark Bell and wife Reina and Carroll Bell and wife Sharon; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

    Funeral services were  held  on Friday December 22nd at Brown McClay Funeral Home in Bristol. Interment will be at Monkton Ridge Cemetery. There were no public calling hours. Contributions may be made to Addison County Home Health and Hospice, Route 7 Middlebury, VT 05753. Special thanks to Mary Emmons, caregiver.

Edward Donald Henderson

 

Addison - Edward Donald Henderson, 53 of Addison, Vermont, died unexpectedly on Wednesday December 20, 2006. He was born in Windsor, Vermont on February 8, 1953 the son of Dorothy Perkins and Henry “pop” Henderson.

    Edward was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved to cook, tell stories, sing, and spend time with his friends and family.

     is survived by his lifetime friend and wife of 33 years, Nancy (Bushey) Henderson and their two daughters, Jessica Henderson of Peru, New York; Beth Jackman and her husband Jesse of Lincoln; four granddaughters Rachel, Josephine, Emma, and Natalie; a brother, Terry and his wife Patty; a sister, Sandy and her husband Ray; a brother, Andy and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Predeceased by his mother, father, and by his brother Henry.

    Funeral services were held on Saturday December 23rd at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes. Interment will be at a later date. Friends called at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes on Friday December 22nd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vergennes Area Rescue Squad PO Box 11 Vergennes, VT 05491
