Eleanor M. Donnell

Panton— Eleanor M. Donnell, 68, died Wednesday, November 22, 1006 at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury.

    Eleanor was born November 23, 1937 in New Britain, CT. the daughter of Steven and Mary (Wall) Bugnacki.

    Eleanor was an amazing oil painting artist. She has hundreds of paintings distributed throughout New England. Many of her pictures were ocean scenes and the Nubble Lighthouse. She also loved to paint landscapes, mountains, flowers, and other nature scenes..

    For the past ten years, Eleanor managed the Hilltop Motel in Saco, Maine, which was only five minutes away from the ocean that she loved. In July, she retuned to Vergennes, a place she once called home, to live wither daughter Michele. For the past six months, they shopped, went to musicals, played bingo, ate at several area restaurants, and enjoyed living.

    Eleanor is survived by two brothers Francis Robert Bugnacki, William Bugnacki, two sisters Florence Russo, Genevieve Greco; four daughters, Darlene Crain of Middlebury, Shirley Pipner of CT, Jacqueline Scott of ME. Michele Newton of Vergennes, two sons Robert Imbimbo of CT, Michael Fortier of NH. ten grandchildren, Paul Crain, Tammy Pipner, Howard Pipher, Christopher Newton, Todd Tanner, Makala Tanner, William Tanner, Justin Scott, Tabayha Crain, and Dan Cutter, several nieces and nephews.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday Nov. 28. at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church in Vergennes. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery in Vergennes. Friends may call at the Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
