    On Tuesday the Vergennes boys played against the Colchester Lakers. Colchester scored in the first 6 minutes of the game. But the Vergennes boys were then able to hold them off for the remainder of the half. In the second half, Colchester scored in the first 10 minutes, making the score 2-0, Lakers. The Commodores‚ defense kept them at bay until there was only 12 minutes left in the game. With one minute left in the game Vergennes freshman Silas Larson scored the Commodores‚ first goal. The game ended with a score of 3-1, Colchester.
