Marnie Wood Celebrates 30 Years Of Teaching

   Bridport Central School was recently the site of a festive celebration of Marnie Wood’s 30 years of teaching.  The school gym was transformed with flowers, balloons, hors d’oeuvres, banners, and photos of Marnie through the years, and was filled with well wishers including current and former students, current and former colleagues, parents, and community members.  Among the guests were families in which both parent and child have been Ms. Wood’s students.   The Bridport School Directors officially recognized Marnie for her 30 years as an educator, 22 of which have been at Bridport Central School.  Ms. Wood will continue her teaching career as Bridport School’s fourth grade teacher next year.
