Travis Wilson of the Cornwall Boxing Club fires a right hand over the left lead of Simon Trabelsi of the Dartmouth Boxing Club during the Ivy League College’s Club Sports “Fight Night” on May 6th 2006 sanctioned by U.S.A. Boxing and State of New Hampshire Boxing and Wrestling Commission.
Wilson was stopped by Trabelsi in round 3. Trabelsi is the 2006 Vermont Golden Gloves 132-pound Novice Champion. Wilson and teammate Brayton Gillette have returned to the ring after a year away from the sport. Trabelsi out pointed Wilson and was voted “Outstanding Fighter of the Night” by U.S.A. Boxing Officials at ringside. Wilson plans to continue his come-back and showed plenty of promise during his 3-round battle with Trabelsi. Brian Gill of Cornwall is Wilson’s manager/trainer. The promoter for this event was Ernie Farrar of St. Albans Vt.
