Obituaries 8-29-17 Charlotte Marie Clark DelisleCharlotte Marie Clark Delisle (84 years young) passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017. She died peacefully, surrounded by family and friends in the Hospice Room at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury.She is survived by loving partner of 37 years Dick Merrill, her six daughters: Linda Cousino, Trish Morgan, Sherry Degraw, Cindy Cousino, Susan Haynes, Anita Clark, and step son Larry Delisle; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, sisters Betty (Hall), Barb (Darling), and brother, Dick Clark. Sharlie was pre-deceased by her parents Ray & Isabelle Clark of Lincoln; 5 siblings: Wilbert, Lynwood, Ellsworth, Lyle and Geraldine (Russell); and grandson Brendon Cousino. Sharlie was known for her love of family and friends. She loved to entertain and was celebrated for her great cooking. Her love of the holidays showed in her fantastic decorations inside and outside of her home over the years. A celebration of life was held at the Masonic Lodge at 2 Elm Street, Bristol on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. Heartfelt thanks to all the nursing staff at Porter for their caring support during her final hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be sent to The University of Vermont Health Network – Porter Medical Center Estuary Room, 115 Porter Drive, Middlebury, VT 05753.
