VUHS Varsity Cheerleaders Win Vermont State Championship

Before a crowd exceeding 1500 people, the VUHS Varsity cheerleaders capped off a perfect season with winning the Vermont State Cheerleading Championships for Division II. Coach Jennifer Johnson couldn't stop smiling as a sea of blue and white covered fans poured out of the bleachers and onto the gymnasium floor to congratulate the team. Top honors in Division I went to Rutland High School for the third consecutive year.
