50 Years And Still Counting

On February 2nd 2017 Linda Lathrop celebrated 50 years “and counting” with the U.S. Postal Service from her familiar surroundings at the Bristol Post Office.  Co-workers, postal customers and friends were only too happy to drop by and offer their best wishes and recognize her half century of service.
 Linda has served in the capacity of Window Clerk and Sales and Service Distribution Associate.  
   She has been recognized and awarded for her years of service from the Northern New England District.
   We asked  Linda about what she has seen as the biggest change in her job environment in the past fifty years.  “Electronics, but it wasn't that hard adjusting,” she explained to the Voice.  She is also quick to praise her fellow postal employees and wanted to thank her many customers. She has made a lot of friends in 50 years. Linda lives in Bristol  Congratulations Linda!
