People strolling through University Mall in Burlington are in for a treat. Located just across from Victoria’s Secret is a new store front with some familiar faces and some incredible unique gifts. The Awesome Shop has opened up in the University Mall and features the talents of Addison County artist Jackie Rivers and Sean and Jana Avram. Anything you can dream up they can air-brush, paint, illustrate or decorate.
    “We used to say if it doesn’t move we paint it,” joked Jackie Rivers. “I have always been involved with art and had quit painting in the past couple of years due to a medical issue with my arm. It was like I was only half me. With the encouragement of my new partners, Sean and Jana Avram, I got back into it and the creative flow we have working together is just incredible.” Customers stopping by the colorful and attractive store will be surprised to learn that Sean Avram comes to his new business with a huge amount of experience and a bit of Hollywood too. Sean was a featured body artist and featured on season one of Skin Wars.
    In addition to airbrush art, colorful gifts, body paint sessions and art instruction, the store does custom work including cars, bikes, helmet, murals and more. Just bring them in a photo or an idea and they can paint it. So, if you are looking for the hard to buy for or just plain looking to explore creative ideas for gifts, stop by the Awesome Shop and see for yourself. The store is open University Mall hours of 9:30 am- 9:00 pm weekdays and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am-6:00 pm.
