Patricia (Pat) Ann Payne WrightPatricia (Pat) Ann Payne Wright passed away October 27 after a long illness. She was born August 13, 1936, to Stanton & Marion Payne and married H. Kent Wright III on September 27, 1953. She is survived by Kent and their children Suzi Findley & husband Ron, Cindy Myrick & husband Steve, Jerry Wright & wife Yvette; brothers Keith Payne & wife Jean, and Bob Payne; grandchildren Kelley Wright, H. Kent Wright V, Billy Wright, Jason Barringer, Atlee Thurston, Tim Wright, Michaela Bushey, Steve Myrick Jr., Cybil Myrick, Silas Myrick, Marla Wright, Cale Wright; nephew Kevin White, whom she raised; and 17 great-grand children. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda White; niece, Jackie Jackson; and son, H. Kent Wright IV.Pat raised her children at home before returning to work for Douglas Orchards, Superintendent of Addison County Schools, Rother Photography, as a Farmerette on the family farm, and 26 years at Shoreham Co-Op before retiring as office manager. She served as a member of the Grange and Order of Eastern Star, Secretary of Champlain Valley Fiddler’s Club, and most recently, Treasurer of the Bridport Senior Citizens. Pat was the neighborhood-mom for many children in the area. Her favorite hobbies were feeding and watching her beloved hummingbirds, birds nesting on the Homestead, and caring for her flower gardens. A Funeral was held November 1, 2016 at the Bridport Congregational Church followed by burial at Bridport Cemetery. Pall Bearers were grandsons; Tim Wright, Jason Barringer, Kent Wright V, Cale Wright, Steve Myrick Jr, Billy Wright, & Silas Myrick. Usher was great grandson Bruce Wright.
