The annual Bourdeau Bros September event marks the beginning of the Fall harvest and a chance for farmers and growers to compare notes, order needed supplies and speak with manufacturers representatives.  The popularity of the event seems to grow every year like the corn, wheat, soybeans, peas and hay in near-by fields.  Vegetables and fruit were also discussed. It was a true Addison County Agricultural Showcase.Fifty Vendors, manufacturers, distributors and dealers were on hand and everyone had a chance to visit demonstration plots to see how the growing was going.  The event is known as the Addison County Ag Showcase hosted by Bourdeau Bros of Middlebury and FCI/Feed Commodities International, Inc.
The day's theme was, as always, “WE CARE for Your Land and Animals.”  It is the largest single day Agricultural Event in Vermont and has been for many years.
