The Seth Warner-Rhoda Farrand Chapter of the DAR recently held a special luncheon for Vietnam Veterans at American Legion Post # 14 on Saturday, February 6th.  Each veteran was presented with a specifically designed Vietnam era lapel pin and the heartfelt thanks for their service. This ceremony included those who served anywhere from 1955-1975. Ted Boelens sang a medley of God Bless America and America the beautiful, following which the veterans were treated to lunch. Shaw’s in Vergennes donated a beautifully decorated cake for the event. Fifteen veterans attended.
