Patricia A. Hannaford Career Center Celebrates Open House 2016

Always a fun, festive and informative event, The Hannaford Career Center's 2016 Open House on Thursday evening February 11, 2016 was another resounding success.  Students were very willing to show their progress and teachers eager to meet with parents and visitors at both campuses enjoyed the annual event once again this year. Pictured:  Janet Barkcoll a Student Ambassador for the event welcomes Valley Voice photographer Mike Cameron to the South Campus on Charles Ave and explaining where some of the classroom events and displays are.  Students from the Addison Repertory Theater prepare to mingle with the visitors and serve some savory treats prepared by students in the Culinary Arts Curriculum. The student actors include: Arden Herriman, Meaghan Stanley, Arrien Gadue, Tiffany Gile, Addison Wales, and Andrew Trombley, meanwhile Tabatha Vincent presents hot hors d’oeuvres fresh from the oven.  Inside the North Campus on Manelli road Will Phillips works on a vehicle in the Automotive Classroom which is both an instructional center and an open shop with full repair and diagnostic capabilities. The Diesel Technology Center is also located in the same building.  The Open House lasted from 4 till 7 p.m. and as always was well attended.
