Patricia M. Boise Paquin

Weybridge: Patricia M. Boise Paquin 80, died Sunday evening November 8, 2015 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. Born December 23, 1934 in Cornwall the daughter of Frederick J. and Hazel M. (Benson) Boise. Patricia graduated from MHS, in 1953 and was the star pitcher on the girls softball team. In 1951 & 52 she would lead the teams to state titles with both her pitching and batting athletic abilities. Patricia moved to Baltimore, Maryland for a job opportunity with Western Electric, after 35 years of service, she retired as a field supervisor for the company. She was active in the community, serving as the Harford Park Community Association President for several years. Patricia moved back to Vermont in 2008 to be closer to her family and son. She was a member of the Pioneers Club, The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 31 in Westminster, MD and the Russ Sholes Senior Center in Middlebury. Pat was an avid Baltimore Orioles baseball and Raven football fan, she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, yard work, bird watching and home brewing with the two Lemmings, Bruce and Pete. She is survived by her son Bruce Paquin and wife Cheryl of Weybridge. Also by her niece Marie Orr, and husband Peter and their son, Travis of Orwell, who meant so much to her. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her siblings, Doris L. Boise, Sara Katherine Lyles, Richard F. Boise and Beverly J. Boise. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 & or to the Disabled American Veterans at P.O. Edla I. Browne

1922 – 2015
Bridport – Edla I. (Sollace) Browne, 93, passed away peacefully in the comfort and care of her home on Tuesday, November 10.  A lifelong Bridport resident she was born on April 19, 1922, a daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Bodette) Sollace.  She attended and graduated from local schools, and retired from ACAS (Dept. of Agriculture) as Office Manager.  She was the wife of the late Clifton Browne who predeceased her on August 31, 2003.  
    She is survived by two nephews, Henry Barnes of Florida, and Stephen Torrey and his wife Patricia of Addison, and brother in law Merton Torrey of Addison.  She also leaves to cherish her memory several great nieces and nephews; Paul, Matthew, Michael, and Elizabeth Barnes, Kimberly and Jessica Torrey, Jason (Becky), Kyle (Lisa), Mark (Jen) Barnes and special friends Robert and Annette Reynolds.  Also special thanks to care giver Dolores Rochon.  She was predeceased by two nephews, Raymond Barnes(survived by his wife Charlotte), and Robert Bliss.  She was also predeceased by two sisters and their husbands; Helen Barnes (George), and Katherine Bliss (Ray, and sister in law Shirley Torrey.  
    A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 24 at 11AM at Bridport Central Cemetery.  The Reverend Tim Franklin officiating.  There are no calling hours.  The Sanderson - Ducharme Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.  Please visit www.sandersonfuneralservice.com for online condolences.
