Middle School Team Shows Its Heart Ohana Donates $400 And 100 Wish-List Items To The Ronald Mcdonald House Charities!

The Ohana Team from Middlebury Union Middle School hosted the Donate & Dance to fund enrichment opportunities in the school and to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington, Vt.  The team offered students a discounted admission if they donated wish-list items (toothbrushes, shampoo, etc.), and the team committed an additional 20% of the total proceeds to this worthy charity.  Students and their parents graciously contributed snacks and drinks to sell.  Over 100 items to the help families staying at the Ronald McDonald House were collected at the entrance.  Because so many students shared how this organization has assisted their families, the team decided to match the $200 from dance profits for a total donation of $400.00.  Now, that’s a great start to a school year!
