Helena Burro Deming

BRANDON: Helena Burro Deming, age 80, died April 17, 2015 at Rutland Regional Medical Center.
    Mrs. Deming was born in Albany, NY on June 24, 1934. She was the daughter of Henry and May Elizabeth Deming. She grew up in Albany where she received her early education. In her earlier years she had worked as a chambermaid at various hotels. She moved to Brandon in 1989 and work at the old Brandon Training School. She enjoyed knitting and puzzles and making pom pom dogs.
    Surviving are 3 daughters; Loretta Susan DeLong of Fair Haven, Rosey Plue of Shoreham and Ida Plue of St. Johnsbury, 2 sons; John Plue, Jr of Rutland and Alfred Plue of Middlebury and her sister; Ida O’Dell of Albany, NY. 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. She was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Campbell.
    The Graveside committal service and burial will take place on Tuesday, April 28, at 1:30 PM, at Wells Village Cemetery in Wells.
    Friends may call at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon on Tuesday, April 28, from 10 AM until 12 noon.
    Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
