Phillip J. O’Brien II

Ferrisburgh, Vermont: Phil passed away on February 21st, 2015 at the age of 52, surrounded by family and friends. Phil was born on September 11, 1962 in Middlebury, Vermont. He graduated from Vergennes High School and trained at Wyoming Technical as a Diesel Mechanic.
    Returning home, Phil worked at the family business, Lebeau & O’Brien Oil Company and started his own moving company, Second Chance Movers, which is operated for twelve years.
    Phil’s love of his life was his partner Brenda and all four of his dogs which he called “his boys”. Phil leaves behind his mother Doris Lebeau O’Brien, brother James and family, daughter Sara McGrath, aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his father Phillip Covel O’Brien and Brenda Ducharme. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to local animal shelters. The family would like to thank long time friend and caregiver Alfred Rotax.
    A celebration of Phil’s life will be held on March 7, 2015 at American Legion Post # 14 in Vergennes, Vermont starting at 1:00 p.m. Please bring a dish to share. A grave side service will occur in the spring.
