Members of the Pratt family pause for a quick photo during their store Open House and mini-Town Business Expo in Bridport on Saturday, May 17th 2014.  The day long event saw a break in the overnight rain and perfect weather for Pratt's and a variety of local home grown businesses.  All were on hand to display their products, skills and celebrate Pratt's 45th Anniversary.  Pictured above LtoR are Sue, and Darwin Pratt, Blair Stone, Stacey Stone, Hillary Stone and Corey Pratt.  The event was well attended as visitors and shoppers had a chance to sample some of Bridport's best locally produced food and fiber products were on display at the store.
Included among this years participants were Wagner Ranch with their fantastic sausage samples and Chef Phil keeping the grill sizzling.  Nicole Foster from Bridport Creamery was there with some wonderful local cheese and curd products.  Judd Markowski of Daily Chocolate had plenty of samples for everyone and like many of us, locally produced daily chocolate always works just fine!  Zarrah was enjoying the day and handing out beautiful samples of artisan cheese from Jan's Fairy Tale Farm in Bridport, was it ever good.  Debbie was both inside and outside Pratt's with her incredible edibles including sticky buns and good old fashioned Vermont baked beans.  Catamount Coffee was there with samples you bet, ground right in Bridport and so fresh you can smell it right through the package,  and Ann Stone's quilts and other domestics dew a crowd, she is very talented and insists on bringing her customers hands-on quality with every product she sells.  Every one wanted to send their best to Bruce Stocker who was unable to attend this years event because of medical challenges but you were remembered Bruce.  Get well soon.  “I’s a great event and everyone has a lot of fun, the 45th has gone really well,” Corey Pratt told the Voice.
