Matthew Charles McDonough

LEICESTER: Matthew Charles McDonough, age 45, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, NH.
    Mr. McDonough was born in Rutland on April 19, 1968. He was the son of John and Heather (French) McDonough. He grew up in Leicester where he received his early education. He graduated from Otter Valley Union High School, class of 1986. Following his graduation he began working for Bill Brooks in general carpentry and as an equipment operator. He later worked fro L. F. Carter, Inc. as a truck driver and equipment operator. He was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on cars. He was an avid hunter & fisherman. He loved animals and was an N.A.S.C.A.R. fan.
    Surviving are 2 daughters; Allyson Brown of Brandon and Shelby McDonough of Leicester, his father John McDonough of Leicester and his brother Michael McDonough of Brandon. A niece, a nephew and several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him. He was predeceased by his mother Heather McDonough on March 9, 2010.
    A private graveside committal service and burial will take place, at a later date, in the family lot, at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Brandon.
    Friends may pay their respects on Monday, December 16, 2013, from 5-8 PM, at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
