Marilyn Ruth Dupoise
WEYBRIDGE: Marilyn Ruth Dupoise, age 83, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at her home doing what she loved best, working in her flower garden.
Marilyn was born in Middlebury on August 28, 1929. She was the daughter of Harold and Ethel (Sterling Boardman) Crowe. She was raised in Bridport, moving to Weybridge in 1942. She received her education in Bridport, Weybridge and Middlebury schools. June 30, 1947 she married David J. Dupoise. She was involved in childcare for most of her adult life and also cared for elderly family members. She enjoyed gardening, providing for her family and fishing. She was a communicant at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Middlebury.
She is survived by three sons; Gary and his wife Theo of Salisbury, David of Ripton, Craig and his wife Joyce of Salisbury, three daughters; Elaine Newton and her husband Michael of East Middlebury, Barbara Ouellette and her husband Randall of Proctor, Marsha Wimble and her husband Stephen of Northfield. Eight grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a brother-in-law Francis Dupoise and his wife Helen of New Haven and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins also survive her. She was predeceased by her husband David in January 1992, a son Michael in January 1977, a grandchild Heath in September 1978, two sisters; Eleanor Quenneville and her husband Leo, Ruby Parent and her husband Marcel.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at St. Mary’s Church in Middlebury. The Rev. William Beaudin, pastor was the celebrant. A private graveside committal service and burial followed, in the family lot, at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
