For more than two decades Camp Ta-Kum-Ta has provided a safe, loving place where children from Vermont and New York who have, or have had cancer can play, swim, share, and heal. Camp T-K-T is where kids go to reclaim a childhood robbed by cancer. For the past four years the camp that loves to share love has been getting some loving attention from the VUHS senior classes. Joining the ranks, the VUHS Class of 2013 spent the last two days at Camp Ta-Kum-Ta doing what ever was needed to prep the camp for this years campers. Led by Lee Shorey and the senior class advisors, over 90 students raked, painted, cooked, built and cleaned their way through the camp.
