Thomas E. Barrows

CORNWALL – Thomas E. Barrows, 61, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 27, 2011.
He was born in Middlebury the son of Robert Barrows and Virginia (Lackard) Fisher.   
He attended Vergennes High School before serving in the military during the Vietnam War.   

    Thomas enjoyed woodworking and was proud of being a Master Carpenter.  Among his interests he enjoyed metal detecting, boxing and helping others by lending a hand whenever he could.

    He is survived by his wife, Susanne (Lessor) Barrows of Cornwall, by his father of Vergennes, his mother of Middlebury, his son Nathan Barrows,  daughters Angela Barrows, Lori Barrows, step daughters Nicole Bougor and Mae Farley, his sisters Lynn Bourgeois, Susanne Button and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his brother Robert “Skip” Barrows.

    A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 at 11 AM at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home located at 117 South Main St., Middlebury.  The Rev. Gary Lewis will officiate.
Friends and family may call  from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the Addison County Humane Society, 236 Boardman St.,  Middlebury, VT 05753.

    Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.

Timothy James Howard

 

ADDISON - Timothy James Howard, age 53, died December 1, 2011, at the home of his care provider in Addison.

    Mr. Howard was born in St. Johnsbury on January 29, 1958. He was the son of Donald and Elizabeth (Nash) Howard. He was a former resident at Brandon Training School. He enjoyed Music and listening to recordings of nature sounds. He has been a resident of Addison since 2003 moving here from Brandon.

    He is survived by his care provider; Chad Paquin of Addison, with whom he had made his home, and his guardian; Dale Severy.

    The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at 1 PM, at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon. A private burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
