Girls Youth League Softball is serious business in Addison County and Coach Brian Morin of the Addison Reds knows that only too well. The Reds (11-12year-olds) recently won a key youth league game in Ferrisburgh by a score of 13 to 12.  As a result the coach ended up with a bright red beard.“At the beginning of the year I told the kids that I would let them shave my head if they won half of their games and the hair went,” he explained.  They also won in play-off bracket 2 so the beard got color treatment of their choice-candy apple red.  Coach Morin does have a day job at Foster Motors in Middlebury and is a strong advocate of the Foster Motors “We Care”, tradition.

The team members are:Pitcher-Shay Pouliot, Catcher, Kayla Gevry, 1st base, Nicole Stearns, 2nd base, Alyse Beauchman, short stop, Sadie Kass, 3rd base, Courtney Morin, right field, Caroline Johnston, right center, Olivia Hawkins, left center, Ashley Bourgeois, left field, Lily Russell, also, Allie Clark, Ellie Martin, Kristen DeGraff, Sophie Ripner-Donvan.

The team would like to thank everyone who supported them this year Assistant coaches, Jen Morin, Mike Russell, Matt Gevry, Randy Stearns, and Phil Bourgeois. Also  our sponsor Aubuchon Hardware
