Whiting Student Earns Scholarship

The University of Northwestern Ohio located in Lima, Ohio, recently awarded the Senior Northwestern Technical Scholarship, for full tuition, not to exceed $25,000, to Christopher Hogan of Whiting. To be considered for this scholarship, students took tests during the on-campus fall open house. Winners with the top test scores in the auto, diesel, agriculture, high performance, and HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) areas were selected. Christopher competed against students from throughout the country and received the top score in agriculture. Christopher Hogan is a Diesel Power Technology student at Patricia A. Hannaford Career Center in Middlebury, Vermont. He has been accepted by the University of Northwestern Ohio and is scheduled to start in August.
