Eric Neal Johnson

PALM BAY, FL/FORESTDALE, VT - Eric Neal Johnson, age 52, died Thursday, January 6, 2011, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL.

    Eric was born in Sioux City, Iowa on April 6, 1958. He was the son of Nora Reed and Norman Johnson, Sr. Eric grew up in Forestdale and was graduated from Otter Valley Union High School. He moved to Palm Bay in 1988. He had worked for A.T. & T. for some time and was involved in the hotel industry for many years with his wife Paula. Eric had a great sense of humor, was an avid photographer and loved his little Sammy.

    Surviving is his wife Paula Hill Johnson, son Kristopher and grandson Trent all of Palm Bay. His mother Nora J. Sampson, sister Sharon Hayes and her husband David; niece Colleen Hayes, nephew Sean Hayes and his wife Nicole; grand nieces and nephews Nicholas, Johanna, Jane and Matthew all of Massachusetts. Eric was predeceased by his brother Norman “Butch” Johnson, Jr and his father Norman Johnson, Sr, and step father Jim Sampson.

    The graveside committal service and burial will take place, at a later date, in the family lot, at Forestdale Cemetery in Brandon.

    Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in his memory to; the American Heart Association, Vermont Affiliate, 434 Hurricane Lane, Williston, VT 05495.

    Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.

Camilla Margaret Quenneville

ORWELL - Camilla Margaret Quenneville, age 95, died Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at her home in Orwell.

    Camilla was born in Montreal, Quebec on March 25, 1915. She was the daughter of Evariste and Clementine (Labelle) Bolduc. She moved with her family to New Haven when she was a child. April 12, 1944 she married Hector Quenneville. They owned and operated their farm in Orwell for over 30 years. Mr. Quenneville died September 28, 1998. Camilla loved to work in her flower and vegetable gardens. She always had a fresh bouquet of flowers from her gardens, for her table. She enjoyed going to her grand children and great grandchildren’s ball games and special events. She was always properly dressed whatever the occasion. She was a devoted member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Orwell for over 65 years.

    Surviving are 2 daughters Simone Kent and Andrea Hornbeck both of Orwell, 6 grandchildren; Missy Clifford, Dina Moss, Jessica Buxton, David Kent, Jr., Stacey Bates and Matthew Kent, a sister Marie Hanly of Tacoma, WA and a brother Josephat Bolduc of Bristol. 8 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & cousins also survive her. In addition to her husband she was also predeceased by a daughter Jane Quenneville and siblings; Real Bolduc, Fernand Bolduc, Margarite Douglas, Romeo Bolduc, Florent Bolduc, Juliet Longtin and Anthony Bolduc.

    A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Orwell. The Rev. Henry Furman, pastor was the celebrant. The graveside committal service and burial will take place at a later date, in the family lot, at Mountain View Cemetery in Orwell.

    Following the ceremony the family will receive friends, at Hawk’s Country Kitchen on Main Street in Orwell, for a time of fellowship & remembrance.

    Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in her memory to; Addison County Home Health & Hospice, P.O. Box 754, Middlebury, VT 05753.

    Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
