The final days are waining as Middlebury residents and commuters await the “grand opening” of the long anticipated Cross Street Bridge over Otter Creek. One feature of the bridge will be the pedestrian walk- way (foreground right). Will the bridge and its controversial round-about ease traffic congestion in the village? We will soon know the answer.
