George L. Warner

   Shoreham, VT- George L. Warner, 82, of Shoreham, VT passed away Sunday October 11, 2009 in Fletcher Allen hospital in Burlington.

   George was born March 10, 1927 in Vergennes, VT to Clayton and Stella (Danyow) Warner.

   For sixty years George was a vital and dedicated employee of the dairy industry, transporting milk from the farm to the processing factory. He was an enthusiastic fisherman and gardener.

   George is survived by his wife Pauline (Whittemore) Warner, four sons, George Warner of Addison, Stephen Warner of Ferrisburg, Anthony Warner of Orwell, Thomas Warner of New Hampshire, one daughter, Sharon of Shoreham. Seven brothers, Francis of Waltham, Clayton Jr. of N.Y., Gene of Ripton, Leonard of Mass., Roger of N.Y., David of East Middlebury, Robert of N.C. Two sisters, Marie Larrow of Burlington and Shirley Mott of Waltham. George is also survived by  eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

   A memorial service was held Thursday October 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanderson Funeral Home in Middlebury.

   Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.

Allan C. Cremer

 

Cornwall - Allan C. Cremer 79, 2009 died early Thursday evening October 8, 2009 at his residence in Cornwall.  

   He was born March 11, 1930 in New York, New York, the son of the late Charles & Alfrieda (Mommson) Cremer. He was a graduate of Flushing High School and a 1951 Graduate of Yale University.

   Allan was an engineer and urban planner having worked all over the world.

   He enjoyed model railroading, traveling, archeology and being a history buff. He was a member of the Addison County Planning Commission and the Society of Civil Engineers.

   He is survived by his wife Dung “Minh” (VuThi) Cremer, which together they ran the Bed and Breakfast in Cornwall. Also by his children, Dan Cremer, of Horse Heads, NY, James Cremer, of Boston, MA and Sarah Cremer, of South Carolina,; by his sister, Mabel Silverstein, of Tucson, AZ, also by his six grandchildren.

   He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Nancy Graham.

   Funeral services were held on Monday October 12, 2009 at St. Stephens Episcopal Church. The Rev. Terry Gleason officiated.

   Burial was on Tuesday October 13, 2009 in Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings on the Hudson, NY.

   Arrangements are under the direction of Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.

Genevieve A. Nuttall

 

Addison - Genevieve A. Nuttall, 78 passed away Thursday October 15, 2009 at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury.

    She was born May 1, 1931 in Shoreham, VT .

    She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Nuttall in 1994.

    Genevieve is survived by her three children Robert A. Nuttall and wife Lilliane of Vergennes, Barbara Provencher of Vergennes, James Nuttall and wife Sandra of St. Albans; seven grandchildren; a sister Veda Haskins of NY; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three sisters Geraldine Trudo, Ruth Jerome, and Bonnie Abbey; two brothers Harry Newvelle and Kenneth Newvelle.

    Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday October 19th at Brown - McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in West Addison. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Addison Volunteer Fire Department Addison, VT or Vergennes Area Rescue Squad, PO Box 11, Vergennes, VT 05491.
