The Addison County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the opening of Mendy’s Clothing’s third location at 66 Main Street in Middlebury. Owned by Mendy Mitiguy, all three stores feature fashion-forward styles that appeal to all women and range in sizes from 0-14 and 24-32. Mendy’s carries jewelry and accessories as well.

Mendy’s first location opened in Shelburne in 2002 and a second opened in Stowe in 2005. The owners of Glass Bead Game, the women’s clothing store that previously occupied the storefront, contacted Ms Mitiguy to let her know they were retiring from the business and the location would be available. After a few cosmetic changes the store opened on April 7th.

Mendy's carries numerous name brands such as True Religion, Sevens, Rock & Republic, Susana Monoco, Paige Premium Denim, Juicy Couture, Velvet, White & Warren and more. April Smith and Addie Dorman, who both worked for the Glass Bead Game for several years, will continue on with Mendy's in addition to some new faces which include Nicole Blanchette who has worked for Mendy's in Shelburne and will share time at the Middlebury store.

“We are very excited to be a part of the Middlebury community and we look forward to working with area women for all their fashion needs,” said Mendy Mitiguy. “I want to thank all of Middlebury for the warm welcome! I cannot believe the ‘above and beyond’ welcome response we have received from everyone, so THANK YOU very much!”

The store is located at 66 Main Street in Middlebury. The phone number is 388-3434 and the hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
