Judith Ann Danyow

Vergennes-Judith Ann Danyow, 64 passed away Saturday March 14, 2009 at her home in Vergennes.

   She was born September 10, 1944 in Burlington the daughter of Charles and Eleanor Murray Crane.

   Judith is survived by her two children, Deena A Brouillard of Bridport; Doug Dow and his wife Penny of Panton; four grandchildren, Amber, Kyle, Eleni, and Miranda; three brothers, David Crane of Florida, Robert Crane of NY, and William Crane of Shoreham; a sister Connie Jackson of Shoreham; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, two sisters Diane and Sandy. There will be no funeral services.

Grace M. Crue

    Grace May Crue, 85, passed away Sunday, March 1 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Florida with family at her side.

    She was born December 26, 1923 in Astoria, New York, the only child of George and May (Vavrina) Hosek.

    Grace graduated Freeport High School as an Honor Roll Student.  She worked at the New York Telephone Company and later she retired from the Nassau County Police Department as a School Crossing Guard (Long Island, NY).

   She was married to (Alfred) John Crue who predeceased her in 1999.

   After summering on Lake Dunmore since 1952, she and her husband moved to Vermont in 1976 and owned and operated Johnny's Forestdale Grocery in Forestdale, and then G & J Furniture Store in Brandon.

 Grace was a member of the Eastern Star, both in Wantagh, New York and in Brandon, Vermont.  She was a past president of the Ladies Auxilary of the North Bellmore, NY Fire Department.

    She is survived by her two daughters:  Susan Kalinowski and her husband Bob of Forestdale, VT and Joann Kuebler and her husband Jim of Clifton, NJ.  Four Grandchildren: Butch Kalinowski & wife Diane of Forestdale, VT., Kate Kuebler and Kevin Kuebler of Clifton, NJ, and Kim Lopez and husband Berto of West Palm Beach, FL.  Three Great Grandchildren: Olivia Kalinowski of Forestdale, VT and Olivia and Keaton Lopez of West Palm Beach, FL.

    Her family will be holding a private celebration of her life this summer.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Cancer Society, Hospice, or the Humane Society.
