Ladies Enjoy Bourdeau Bros. 27th Customer Appreciation Day 2009

(L to R)   Donna Hislop of Gordons Window Décor explains window treatments and energy efficient shades and blinds…Kathy Mason-UVM Extension (Rural & Voc Rehab) gives a presentation on arthritis and musculoskeletal/joint health…Phyllis Bowdish-Weybridge Farms. demonstrates quilting techniques and opportunities and Karen LeRoy-Popoma Farm in whiting  demonstrates dried flower production and arrangement from a different perspective “Weeds for Beauty and Health.”  It was all part of the special schedule of Bourdeau Brothers special week-long spring event from Monday, February 9th-Friday February 13th.  The event brings together area farmers, growers and their families to discuss the upcoming growing season, current market conditions and do a little networking and perhaps even some ‘horse-trading” with their neighbors that they might not see very often at other times during the year.

Bourdeau Bros rolls out the green carpet with three hot delicious meals served daily, their best prices of the year on fertilizer, chemicals, corn seeds, small seeds, small grains and silage inoculants.  This year’s participating companies included:  Seedway, Alltech, Pioneer HI-BRED Int., Syngenta Crop Protection, DuPont Agricultural Products, Dow Agro Science, Preferred Seed Co, Semican, Tytan Co. Hubband Feeds Inc., Helena Chemical Co. and Dairy Land Seed Co.  Warmer weather after a very cold winter so far was a welcome break for those attending this year’s events at the Bourdeau Bros complex on Seymour Street .
