   October also saw Saint Mary’s School in Middlebury celebrate it’s 10th Anniversary since re-opening. Parish and schools have much to be proud of. The Catholic Elementary School continues to teach children about “Integrity for life.”

   November saw a dedication ceremony to State Assistant Judge Wayne Heath. 
The former Vermont State Trooper and Side Judge was a “Man of the People.” The bench above surrounded by Judge Heath’s family will always be a testament to his humanity and zest for public service.

   2008 was the summer of heavy rain, wind and flash flooding. Above the Middlebury River washed out roads and raised the level of Lake Dunmore to records.

   4th of July in Bristol is always a big event including “The Great Bristol Outhouse Race.” Summer wouldn’t be summer without it. It is a premiere VT summer event.
