Obituaries 12-2-08 Frank T. KurekBristol- Frank T. Kurek 76 a longtime resident of Bristol passed away Sunday November 23, 2008 at Brooksville Regional Hospital in Brooksville, Florida. He was born on April 2, 1932 in Middletown, Connecticut the son of Paul and Katherine (Kokoska) Kurek. He was a member of St. Ambrose Church in Bristol, American Legion Post #19 in Bristol, VFW in Middlebury, and Knights of Columbus in Bristol. He worked more than 25 years at Polymers and he also worked at Bristol Landfill. Frank is survived by his wife of 46 years Beverly Kurek of Homesassa, FL; seven children, Donna Gagnon of Florida, Diana Sweet of Colchester, Dolores Brown of Bristol, Darlene Booska of Bristol , Frank J. Kurek of Bristol, Christie Grant of Florida, Mary Brouillard of Bristol; 20 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a brother John Kurek of Middletown, Conn.; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by four brothers and four sisters. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday November 29th at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Bristol. Interment was in Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 121 Connor Way, Williston, VT 05495.
