William Irving Rider

Ferrisburgh - William Irving Rider, 81 passed away unexpectedly Tuesday September 30, 2008 at his home in Ferrisburgh.

   He was born January 27, 1927 in Ferrisburgh the daughter of John Philip and Ellen Porter Rider.

   William is survived by his sister Marjorie Bushey of Middlebury; several nieces and nephews; dear friends, Joanne Mullin and Gerry of Ferrisburgh, and Yvette Field of Ferrisburgh. Predeceased by six sisters and a brother.

   A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday October 8th at Gage Cemetery in Ferrisburgh. There will be no public calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vergennes Area Rescue Squad, PO Box 11, Vergennes, VT 05491.
