Dorothy M. Bibeau

Vergennes - Dorothy M. Bibeau, 82 passed away Thursday August 28, 2008 at Helen Porter Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury.

   She was born July 6, 1926 in Seymour. Conn. the daughter of Adolphus and Mary (Lazurke) Sears.

   She enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting Indian Arrowheads, reading, cooking, picking wild berries, and gathering wild vegetables.

   Dorothy is survived by her two sons. Randy Bibeau of Vergennes; Donald Myers and his wife Margie of Ferrisburgh; a daughter Christine Bradford of Vergennes: two grandchildren. Charles and Bill Bradford; a sister. Margaret Delisle of Ferrisburgh; several nieces and nephews.

   A memorial service was held on Tuesday September 2nd at Brown McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Helen Porter Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, 30 Porter Drive. Middlebury, VT 05753.

Harold E. Haskins

Leicester - Harold E. Haskins, 84 passed away Saturday August 30, 2008 at Fletcher Allen Healthcare in Burlington.

   He was born January 1, 1924 in Ripton the son of  Arthur and Eleanor DeVoid Haskins.

   He was a loving hard working man who enjoyed working on cars, being in the garage, loved animals, fishing, hunting, helping other people. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who knew him as Pop, Gramp, and Dad.

   Predeceased by his wife Donna Haskins in 1978.

   Harold is survived by his wife Thelma of Winooski; ten children, Edson Haskins and his wife Pearle and Robert Haskins and his wife Mabel of North Carolina; Douglas Haskins and his wife Kathy and Cheryl Pinkham and her companion Michael of Florida; Lenora Parker of Georgia; Patty Dodge and Judy Pearson and her husband Leonard of Brandon; Sadie Kemp and husband Charles of Leicester; two step children, Vernon Woodard and his wife Kim of Burlington; Veronica Cota of South Dakota; a special grandson Joe Kamp of Leicester; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A special friend Ernest Wescott.

            Funeral services were held  on Friday September 5th at Brown McClay Funeral Home in Bristol. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in New Haven.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Addison County Humans Society, Boardman St., Middlebury,  05753, or to your favorite charity.
