Sarrah Anne Ogilvie

Bristol- Sarrah Anne Ogilvie, age 30, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at her home in Bristol, VT.

Sarrah was born in Middlebury, VT April 1, 1978, the daughter of Patricia (Lilly) Ogilvie and the late James "Scott" Ogilvie.

She was a loyal sister, daughter and friend and a fiercely devoted mother to her two young children.

She was an academic scholar throughout her life, with a quick wit and uncanny sense of humor. She played the clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone and piano. She also sang with the Addison County Youth Chorus. Music was a constant part of her life.

Sarrah would consider her greatest accomplishment in life to be the birth and life of her two beautiful children, Andrew, age 5, and Bethany, age 3. She was a fierce champion for her beautiful son, Andrew, and fought for his special needs on every front with dogged determination. Her pride in her babies was the core of her existence.

As a daughter, Sarrah was always there and ready to be of help when her mother was in need. The Verizon Wireless Company got their money's worth in all her calls to her mom, friends and family.

As a sister and aunt, she was unsurpassed in her ability to "spoil" her nieces and nephew to their extreme delight which made a visit to "Auntie Sarrah's" a special adventure.

If you were one of the fortunate ones to have Sarrah as a friend, her loyalty was unsurpassed. If you were in need, she would give of her heart without thinking of her own needs.

Sarrah was a long-time employee of PaPa Nick's Restaurant in Hinesburg and leaves behind many special friends and loyal patrons.

Sarrah is survived by two children, Andrew and Bethany, the loving father of her children, Eric Bresnick and his two children, Dylan and Taylor, her mother, Patricia Ogilvie, her sister, Heather and husband Aaron, nieces, Ava and Gracie, and nephew Oliver Sprigg. Extended family include Grandmother Margaret Schake of Bellingham, MN, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Close friend and room-mate, Jessica Brown and daughter Kylie, her life-long devoted friends, Annie Benny, Linnea Leaystrom, Bridgette Hammond, Ryan Huestis, and many more will continue to grieve her loss.

. Services were  held on Friday, July 18, 2008  at Assembly of God Christian Center on Route 7, Vergennes, VT.  A reception will follow at the church.

Donations to help with memorial costs and needs of the young children may be sent to the National Bank of Middlebury, Ogilvie-Bresnick Family Fund, Main Street, Bristol, VT .
