Welcome Back!

L to R Richard “Dick” Phillips, Carl De Coster and Greg Boglioli are ready to bring back the same personal service, a large inventory of products and maybe a few new pleasant surprises thrown in for good measure.

The trio has been working hard to make it happen once again for their many customers along the Champlain Valley.

Vermont's premiere hunting, fishing and shooting sports specialty store is back in business after suffering a devastating fire over a year ago.

Many area sportsmen and women and their families have missed Field Sports because they had become a fixture in the area for decades. Key in the re-opening of the store is the very fact that it has been able to re-open during an economic down-turn nationally.

Much has happened in the 52-plus weeks following the fire.

That the store has been rebuilt, stock re-ordered, a new computer inventory control system installed and learned by the staff and brand spanking new display racks and cases ordered, shipped and assembled is of itself remarkable.

It all has taken much time and effort, but one who has shopped Vermont Field Sports over the years will get a sense of nostalgia as they remember where things were in the old store when they walk and browse in the new one.

The re-opening will be a quiet business as usual event to begin with and a grand re-opening is being planned.

All three men, Dick, Carl and Greg are grateful at the reception they have been given and want to thank each and every person that has made the reopening of Vermont Field Sports a reality.  Stop by and say hello and more importantly, join us in a hearty “Welcome Back!” to an important community and county resource.
