Margaret (Pat) Sturtevant

New Haven - Margaret (Pat) Sturtevant, 59 passed away Monday April 21, 2008 at her home in New Haven surrounded by her family.

   She was born February 8, 1949 in New Haven the daughter of Edgar and Genevieve (Ash) Durkee.

   She loved her flower gardening, cooking, crocheting, square dancing; also she was a member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Middlebury. She worked at several places and also at Middlebury College, and her greatest love was her grandchildren and family.

   Margaret is survived by her husband of 41 yrs. Francis Sturtevant of New Haven; two children, Bruce Sturtevant of New Haven; Lisa Sturtevant and finance’ Mike Poirier of Charlotte; four grandchildren, Jason, Bradley, and Jessica Sturtevant; Tarah Poirier; sister Ida and husband Dave Cyr of Shoreham; two brothers, Donald Durkee and companion Flo of Leicester; Art Durkee of Orwell; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by her sister Avis.

   Funeral services wereheld on Friday April 25th at New Haven Congregational Church.  Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in New Haven. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Addison County Home Health & Hospice, PO Box 754, Middlebury, VT 05753.     

STEVEN PAUL LABERGE

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - Steven Paul Laberge, age 52 of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away at his home on Tuesday April 8, 2008 after a lengthy illness.

   Steven was born in Middlebury, VT on August 25, 1955 the son of Robert W. Laberge Sr. and Laura L. Sherman.

   Steven attended Beeman Academy in New Haven, VT and later Mount Abraham Union High School in Bristol, VT.  After high school, Steven served in the US Marine Corps in the early 1970’s.  After his discharge from the service, Steven worked as a commercial vehicle mechanic in Los Angeles, CA and later in Las Vegas, NV.

   Steven had a zest for life, riding motorcycles, entertaining friends, and spending time with his family.

   Steven is survived by his daughter Laura and his step-son Mark, both of whom he adored.  Steven is also survived by Lisa Anderson, the mother of his daughter and step-son.

   Steven leaves behind his sister, Patricia Laberge Hathaway and her husband Stephen of Montgomery, VT; brother Robert W. Laberge Jr. nd his wife Nicole of Middlebury, VT; brother Jeffrey K. Laberge of Salisbury, VT; brother James S. Laberge and his wife Kristin of Ferrisburgh, VT; brother Michael C. Laberge of Bonita Springs, FL.

   Steven also leaves behind special uncles and aunts:  Rael and Beverly Mayer of New Haven, VT; Robert and Sheila Sherman of New Haven, VT; Barbara Clark of Auburn, ME; Charles and Babette Laberge of Wilbraham, MA and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He is also survived by his very special friend, Cassie Kay and several other close friends from Las Vegas, NV.

   Steven was pre-deceased by his mother, Laura, in 1967 and his father, Robert, in 2000.

   A celebration of Steven’s life will be held on Sunday May 18, 2008 from 1pm to 3pm at the Bristol American Legion.
