Vergennes Rotary Club Casino Night

   The Vergennes Rotary Club  annual Casino Night is  Saturday, March 29 at the Vergennes American Legion.

   This annual event brings fun  to all by staging casino-type gambling games without actually gamblin for the benefit of the Rotary’s scholarship program.

   For over 30 years the Vergennes Rotary Club has sponsored Casino Night and has offeered games of blackjack, bingo, dice games and wheels of chance for everyone. As Vergennes Rotary President Jeff Scott remarked “It is an opportunity for havinh fun for a worthy cause.”

   Admission is a $10 donation which allows each player $500 of casino playing chips in order to participate in the games. Prizes are awarded at the end of the evening.These prizes  have been donated by area merchants.

   Tickets are available at Gaines Insurance, Classic Stitching and the Vergennes American  Legion. tickets  purchased in advance will have an additional $100 worth of chips  added to the $500 making a total of $600 of playing chips.

   Playing begins at 7p.m. on March 29 at the Vergennes Legion. Rotary members and local businessmen will act as “dealers.” Refreshments will be available.
