Obituaries 2-12-08 Bonnie mae lathropmiddlebuRY-Bonnie Mae Lathrop, 57 died in her sleep, Monday, Feb 4, 2008, at her home. She was born in Middlebury July 19, 1950, the daughter of the late Emmit Severy and Gertrude (Dutton) Severy Clark. She attended schools in Middlebury and Fort Lauderdale, fla. She was employed many years at various restaurants in Middlebury, including twenty years of employment at Waybury Inn. She very much enjoyed sewing, especially making dresses for her granddaughters, and enjoyed arranging flowers and working in flower gardens, which she did at the Waybury Inn and for others. Bonnie is survived by two sons, Kirt A Travis of Middlebury, and Eric E. Lathrop of Middlebury; one daughter, Kerri L. Lathrop of Cedar Crest, N.M.; three granddaughters; one sister, Edith and her husband and Leonard Scarborough of N.H and a brother in law, Leonard Sears of New Haven. She was predeceased by a sister, Sylvia Sears. Calling hours are Wednesday, Feb 13, from noon till 2p.m. at the East Middlebury United Methodist Church. A memorial service will take place at the church at 2p.m. with Rev. Jill Robinson, officiating. Spring burial will take place at Prospect Cemetery, East Middlebury.
