   Construction continues on a cold 17 degree morning at the Swamp Road Covered Bridge on Tuesday 12-18-07.
   The Bridge is undergoing a complete restoration.  It is one of the state’s longest and strongest wooden spans over Otter Creek.

   Benjamin Osicky, of Ferrisburgh, Kyle Pixley of Vergennes, and John Slocum of Middlebury, were recognized in front of peers, family and friends as Eagle Scouts before the Eagle Court of Honor. The ceremonies were held on, November 18th, 2007.    According to BSA officials, Eagle projects must be approved by the regional council, documented and described in deatil at least 100 hours of combined work by each candidate.
