Starwise for the week of January 1st

CAPRICORN (Dec20-Jan 19) It's a brand new year full of opportunities just for you, even though this is an uneven week. There's a vague feeling of something wrong tomorrow even though you can't put your finger on it, and Sunday is frustrating. Friday, however, is an excellent day in which your intuition serves you really well and Monday runs smoothly.

AQUARIUS (Jan19-Feb) Let the energies of the week just kind of flow around you without trying to force them in any direction. Today gets the new year off to a geat start, but a friendship wobbles a bit tomorrow. Thursday looks great, but Saturday has a few pitfalls. Sunday is active, social and fun and it's easy to get your point across to others on Monday.

PISCES (Feb19-Mar20) You also have a good start to the yar with the emphasis on success with long-term plans. Work matters get tangled tomorrow, but get cleared up nicely by Friday. Keep a low profile on Saturday and avoid squabbling with an old pal on Sunday or matters will get out of hand. Monday is a day to follow your ideals and ambitions all the way.

ARIES (Mar20-Apr20) You have to walk carefully now for the opposition between Mars and Pluto tomorrow starts this afternoon and you seem to be the one stirring things up. Life is smoother by Friday and even dealing with the public is stressful on Saturday, time spent with friends on Sunday puts you in a better mood. Monday is a day when things get done.

TAURUS (Apr20-May20) Close relationships are getting hit hard by the planets tomorrow, especially if a really old issue comes to the front. Make time to talk these issues over thoroughly on Thursday and Friday will be delightful. Don't neglect things that need to be done on Saturday and get out and do fun stuff on Sunday. A interesting offer arrives on Monday.

GEMINI (May21-Jun21) Your week is reasonably quiet even though relationships have a flurry of negative energy tomorrow as well. Don't let anyone downgrade your self-image and spend time on Friday with friends who boost your spirits. Saturday is a bit unsettling and domestic issues get out of hand on Sunday, but Monday is productive and fun.  

CANCER (Jun21-Jun22) The focus of the New Year is always on relationships for you, and tomorrow's opposition can undermine your confidence and attack your physical health. You'll feel better on Thursday and be in a positive mood by Friday. Both Saturday and Sunday are stressful as your significant other behaves a bit oddly, but Monday is a fine day.   

LEO (Jul22-Aug23) The New Year brings the need for meaningful conversations with those you love, and tomorrow would not be the right day for arguments fly out of nowhere. Friday is social, pleasant and full of things to do, but you need to pay attention to responsibilities on Saturday. Sunday is a mixed bag but Monday works out very nicely for everyone.

VIRGO (Aug23-Sep23) Creative energy wins the day and will be the keynote for the year ahead. Tomorrow's opposition creates conflict between home and work that will be hard to resolve without help. Meeting new people comes easily on Friday and Sunday's conflicting forces support relationships but restrict your feelings. Be willing to compromise on Monday.

LIBRA (Sep23-Oct 22) The moon is with you as the year begins, promising all sorts of good happenings. Tomorrow's arguments strike in your family, but can be ironed out on Thursday. Try a new adventure on Friday and if you can get away for the weekend, do so. You feel at odds with yourself on Sunday, but Monday offers solutions that exceed your expectations.

SCORPIO (Oct23-Nov22) Tomorrow's opposition is to Pluto, your ruler, and that can ruin your good mood in a hurry. Watch your money for there is danger of outright loss. Friday's positive power cheers you up and proves that your significant other is on your side. Be diplomatic on Saturday and even more so on Sunday, but explore new directions on Monday,  

SAGITTARIUS (Nov22-Dec20) An attempt to find out what is going on with your partner backfires tomorrow, so you may want to back off. Thursday brings mellow influences at work that continue through Friday, but overspending comes easily on Saturday. You get conflicting advice on Sunday, so follow your own intuition and expect Monday to be delightful.
