The Kids on Stage Theatre Company will present "The Christmas Bus” on Nov. 29, 30, Dec. 1, and 2 in the auditorium at Middlebury Union High School.

The Thursday, Friday, and Saturday performances will be at 7 p.m., and the Sunday matinee will be at 2 p.m.  The show is perfect for pre-school age children and up.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children (14 and under), and can be purchased at the Middlebury Inn or at the door.

Written by Robert Inman, “The Christmas Bus” is the heart-warming story of a group of orphans trying to spend Christmas Eve with local families. There's Mrs. Brown, the kind director of Peaceful Valley Orphanage (and driver of the bus); the Busybodies on the orphanage board of directors who oppose Mrs. Brown's plan for a special Christmas; Sheriff Snodgrass; the Traveling Troubador; and a host of other characters.

Now in its sixth season, Kids on Stage is an all-children's theatre company that distributes proceeds from ticket sales back to non-profit organizations in the community. In this way youngsters learn about theatre production and community service at the same time.

For more information call Pam Taylor, 388-0178.
