Gilbert C. Clark Sr.

BristoL - Gilbert C. Clark Sr. 53 died Sunday October 28, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family.

   He was born on November 19, 1953 in Middlebury the son of Charles and Arlene Dow Clark Sr.

   Gilbert is survived by his fiance’ Helen Pierce of Bristol; four children, Gilbert M. Clark and Rena of Glover; Christina Eubar and Jamie of Forestdale; Gilbert C. Clark Jr. and Allison of Salisbury; Jennifer Clark and friend Edward Hutchins of Whiting; five grandchildren Brad, Christopher, Michael, Arron and Austin; two brothers, Chester Clark and companion Debbie of Bethel; Andrew Clark and wife Gloria of Northfield; five sisters, Helen Barrows and husband Clifford; Linda White and husband Ronald both of Vergennes; Shirley Barrows and husband Ray of Starksboro; Yvonne Lafrance and husband Moe of St. Albans; Danna Lunn and her husband Roger of Spring Valley, Illinois; several nieces and nephews.

   Predeceased by his parents Arlene and Charles Clark; five brothers and sisters, Rodney and Charles Clark Jr. Audrey, Betty and Joyce an adopted daughter Mary Ann.

   Funeral services were held on Tuesday October 30th at Victory Baptist Church in Vergennes. Interment was in Maple Cemetery in Lincoln.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Addison County Home Health & Hospice PO Box 754 Middlebury, VT 05753.

Matthew Bruns

 

Starksboro - Matthew Bruns died on Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at his home in Starksboro, Vermont, after a long illness.

   He  was born January 3, 1967, in Silver Spring, Maryland.  He was the son of Randolph and Barbara Bruns of Arnold, Maryland, the loving husband of Barbara and devoted father of Zachary and Sierra.  He is also survived by his sister Krista Whitney and her husband Matt and their four children Connor, Clay, Carson and Summer.

   Matthew graduated from Severna Park High School in Maryland and attended college in Frostburg , Maryland.  In high school and in his early working career he worked with disabled children and adults.  He later was a licensed practicing massage therapist in Connecticut and recently worked in the service industry in Vermont.
