photo by Mike Cameron Middlebury’s Neil Gruber prepares to launch his sea kayak at the Crown Point Bridge for a sunset and full-moon paddle trip to port Henry and back on Tuesday night August 28th,2007. Mike Cameron, also an avid paddler, joined Neil for the tour on Lake Champlain. Condition were picture perfect with a gentle southerly breeze to keep the air fresh and a giant harvest moon to light their way on the return trip home. Gruber is one of the few kayakers who has paddled the lake end-to-end and has many fond memories of his time on the water. |
