Patricia Miller

Vergennes - Patricia G. Miller, 68, died Sunday, June 17, 2007, at the Hospice Care Unit at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Florida.

   She was born Feb. 4, 1939 in Burlington, VT, the daughter of Miner and Florence (Dugan) Milo.  She moved to Inverness, FL from Vergennes, VT in 2002.

    Mrs. Miller worked as an assembly person for Goodrich Aerospace for 25 years and with the Department of Corrections for five years in Vergennes.

    She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness, FL and the American Legion Post No. 14 Ladies Auxiliary in Vergennes.  She liked to bowl, knit, crochet, embroider and play bingo.  She loved visiting with her friends and her granddaughters were the love of her life.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Miner Milo; mother, Florence Milo; two brothers, William and Arthur Milo; two sons, Michael and Arthur Miller; and a grandson Michael Miller II.

    She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gerald Miller of Inverness, FL; granddaughters Jacqueline and Deanna Miller of Bartlesville, OK; daughter in –law Lynette Miller of Bartlesville, OK, nephews Robert Milo of Burlington and Kenneth and David Bannister of Vergennes; nieces Laurie Stone of Middlebury and Lisa Moran of Mantville, CT; many cousins; and best friends Nancy and Kenneth Ruggles.

 A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Vergennes.  Interment was at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Vergennes. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Addison County Home Health & Hospice Route 7 Middlebury, VT 05753.

Mark A. Rose

Lincoln - Mark A Rose, 56 died unexpectedly Friday June 29, 2007 in Granville.

    He was born September 15, 1950 in Burlington the son of Francis and Patricia Welker Rose.

    He was a member of American Motorcycle Association, Aircraft owners and Pilots Association, and Vermont Association of Snow Travelers.

    Mark is survived by his wife Joanne Rose of Lincoln; three daughters Christina and husband Rob Shea of Mineville, NY; Annie and husband Eugene Stearns of Addison; Diana Rose of Vergennes; two step children, Richard and wife Christine LaBarre of Duxbury; Catherine LaBarre and partner Robert Armstrong of Bristol; four grandsons; his mother Patricia Carpenter of Middlebury; his step mother Grace Rose of Berlin; two sisters Sandra McNamara of New Haven; Tori and Richard Lathrop of New Haven; a brother David and Becky Rose of Bristol; a brother in law Richard Hollenbeck of Moriah, NY.

    In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Make a Wish Foundation of Vermont 100 Dorset Street Burlington, VT 05401.
