ARVERY J. LeCOMPTE

SHOREHAM - Arvery J. LeCompte, 79, died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at the home of his daughter in East Middlebury surrounded by his family and friends.

   Arvery was born on February 5, 1928 in Shoreham the son of Ovilla and Aldia (Dennis) LeCompte.

   He served is the U. S Army during the Korean War.

   Arvery’s passions included woodworking, gardening and sharing a good laugh with family and friends.

   He was a member of the Vergennes Congregational Church.

   Arvery is survived by three children, Cynthia and her husband Richard Webb of East Middlebury, John and June LeCompte of Leicester, James LeCompte of East Middlebury, seven grandchildren, and great granddaughter, companion Jean Conte of Shoreham, several nieces and nephews. Arvery was predeceased by two brothers Leo, and Marcel, two sisters Alma and Annett.

   Memorial services were held Wednesday May 23 at the Vergennes Congregational Church. Interment well be at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the Vergennes Congregational Church, Vergennes. 05491. Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes in charge of arrangements.

Bradley Scott Plank

Middlebury - Bradley Scott Plank, 22 died Sunday May 20, 2007 at his home in Middlebury.

    He was born July 14, 1984 in Wellsboro, Penn. the son of Patrick and Norma Wilcox Plank.

    Bradley is survived by his father and his step mother, Patrick Plank and Rosemarie Hardy of Shelburne; two brothers Patrick Plank Jr. of Moorisrun, Penn.; Justin Plank of Wellsboro, Penn.; a sister Tonya Plank of Troutrun, Penn.; grandparents, Arlan and Geraldine Plank of Liberty, Penn.; two step sisters Kimberly King and Crystal Hardy; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday May 29th at Brown McClay Funeral Home in Bristol. Interment will be at a later date. Friends may call at Brown McClay Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. up to the hour of funeral.
